Big Ride Day |

Queensland Raceway Line before we started  Some of the lads Warren my Motor Bike friend organised a bunch of us to go for a ride day at Willow bank Raceway. It was absolutely awesome fun. First time out I lent over so far I scrapped my boot on the ground, yee hah. A lady offered to try to video me but you will see she had a bit of trouble. You’ll get the idea though. I appear towards the end of the clip, after a Ducati (rumbling engine noise) but before the big group of riders. A great day I was very glad to get through the day in one piece. Several riders came off during the day and it was very sobering for the rest of us. Seeing the professional guys going round made me feel sick because they really go at terrifying speeds. Once on the track, the fear goes away and it just awesome fun. YZF 1000 Three sessions in a row I overtook this guy who was riding a brand new R1, on the outside of the corner. I reckon he was spewing every time he saw me go by because my bike is heaver and less powerful. Go the Rev! |

It's a great way to have a break My wife and I enjoy riding up Mount Glorious when we can get a baby sitter. There is a nice little tea house where you can have a drink or lunch (depending on the baby sitter). It's one of the best rides you will ever go on and it starts right out the front of our place. Riding a bike means you get to meet all sorts of interesting characters. |
