Hi to some new guys in my group, Ben, Dan, Josh and Oliver. Today was hard work for the class and for me. Talking about the soul isn’t that easy because it’s such an abstract topic. It doesn’t seem to have a direct bearing on our lives.

What does it mean to be human? If you were on a life boat that couldn’t hold everyone on board how would you collectively decide who would be sacrificed? This brings out discussion about the value of a human being and the values that we hold to. Those that get to stay in the boat do so because they are deemed to have value, they are worth saving. So why did everyone say John Howard had to go?

As I had to rush off to a conference at the Gold Coast this entry is a little late and it was written when I was between conference sessions, which means that I was more than a little tired.

We began by exploring Hitler’s values and beliefs.

Seeing the Truth in the Matrix involved Neo being woken up in the real world. A world controlled by machines that used humans as sources of energy.
