On Sunday the 16th of November 2008 during our ‘Renew’ Bible Study we were terrifyingly interrupted by a tornado ripping through our Church. We had only just moved away from the window when a tree came crashing through it sending Frisbee sized glass flying through the air and even embedding into the carpet. It was terrifying because we didn’t know where to hide; trees were falling on the Church roof at the front and back. It was raining in the Church and paper was swirling around and getting pasted to the walls. |
