Spiritual Pictionary We kicked off today with playing a game of speed Pictionary. First team to get through the list of words won. Trick was we were doing words like, honesty, courage, love, family, freedom, wealth. Some proved to be a challenge. Here are a few of my favourite drawings.   
Chinese Scholarship Congratulations to Brooke on winning a scholarship to go to China. It is a wonderful effort and achievement and we are sure you going to have an awesome time over there. Executing Saddam Hussein During a game we got to talking about how Saddam is going to be hung. Some of the students were against his execution because it makes us no better than he is. They believed that his punishment should be life in prison. Other students thought he should be executed. We discussed issues like who has the authority to make a decision to take a life. What happens if the process makes a mistake and an innocent person is executed? What do I believe about….? The Human Race: Evolving, experiencing new things. Is just another species in the universe evolving until the world ends Exists to evolve – continuate An experiment to see how we interact and advance through time. Why am I alive: To experience the world, to learn new things To live. To pass on knowledge. To love, (live with & nurture the world around you) To have an input in society To enjoy To live and make an impact on others Love God love people (the Rev)
Death: Everyone’s body dies but we all live on in spirit/soul That it’s inevitable The end of the beginning We come back as another animal or person. THE END – unknown It happens to everyone There is life after death (the Rev)
Love: We will all experience it, whether it be love of something, someone, family… Helps us stay alive Love = feeling To make somebody happy and make them feel fulfilled. To love/like other living beings It is personal and wonderful Something that I should give more than I receive (the Rev)
The beginning of the world: Where did humans come from: They evolved from the earth, whether gods created it or not. That we will never definitely know but will always wonder. The creation – vision of the universe Evolved from dogs or another animal Evolution God Created by God (the Rev)
My purpose for being alive: ?? Is to be born again until the end. Live, love & grow To contribute my strengths To enjoy I was brought into the world as a result of love Serve God (the Rev)
