The greatest wish - Phil 4:10-14

A millionaire was overhead saying that he would be satisfied with just a little bit more. We have so much but it never seems to be enough.

We don’t always want to more to consume, sometimes we want company to drive away loneliness. Or we want to be accepted because we feel guilty or inadequate. However much we try and meet our needs it seems as though there are many more to take their place. If we could have one wish it would be for all our needs to be met. But our ever present needs are meant to point to our biggest need which is physical, emotional and spiritual. What may be lacking in your life is a healthy relationship with God. Perhaps you believe in him and pray to him but are you content with him. So often we are tempted to add to God, as though he isn’t enough. Let me encourage you that true and lasting contentment is to be found in Jesus Christ no matter what you might be going through, whether good or bad, up or down Christ will get you through.
