Where are you? My class went missing today : (
So I joined Dave’s small group. I was very well received particularly because I had brought, Vanilla Coke, Dip, crackers and Tim Tams. It was a chance for me to get to know Michael, Tristan and Andrew. There were camping stories, we couldn’t sort out who was the snorer, talk of motor bikes, all things Italian particularly Spaghetti. The student who is god Part of our mucking round included a student saying he was god. We wondered why he hadn’t fixed up the world. He said he didn’t know which we thought was suspect because shouldn’t he know everything. Even though this was a bit of fun it isn’t far from the truth. We all like to think we are in control of our own lives. Depression sometimes strikes people because their hopes have not come true. It’s a scary world to live in without God because it does mean it’s everyone man and woman for themselves. Everything becomes random and self centred. I’m happy that God exists and that he has a plan in place to fix this world. Please come to our Carol Service on the 10th of December at 7pm at 1195 Waterworks Road. the Rev |
