Beyond the Wrapping

Little kids bypass the card, open the present and play with the wrapping paper.

When Christ was born his birth was announced to the shepherds so that they might know that God had given them and the world a very special present. So they went and visited baby Jesus and marvelled at the one who would save the world from suffering and evil. This world is like the wrapping paper compared to Jesus Christ. Make this Christmas a time where you open God’s gift for you, where you get to know the Saviour for yourself. Don’t allow the busyness of your life to distract you from getting to know Jesus Christ. Read the gospel of Mark over the holidays. May you come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
