Examine your heart Gen 1-3

The first book of the Bible begins with God making the world. He fills it with all manner of life and crowns it with the most amazing creation of all; human beings. God breathed his spirit into us giving us eternal life. We then promptly broke our relationship with God, with each other and the world.

The rest of the Bible is an account of how God set about repairing what we broke. Read Genesis chapters 1-3 and you will be confronted by your need to examine your heart so that you can face the big issues of your life, fear (wanting to be in control), pride (living to please yourself) and guilt (ignoring your brokenness before God).
