Why do Knights in shining armour so quickly fall off their horses?

Most times they realise that they were dismounted by the princes they had tried to rescue. It is sad when the qualities we fell in love with become the stumbling blocks in our relationships. There is a very good reason why this happens. We live in a broken world. Relationships, careers, cars, homes, kids, holidays, drug, sex, food cannot replace God. Nothing can truly satisfy us. This causes us to keep searching. Help comes from letting God be your wisdom, your comfort/hope and your practical help. the Rev
