Jonah 1

Jonah was a prophet who loved his job. In 2 Kings 14:23-29 he had the job of prophesying that his Nation would win its battle against their enemies. All of that changed when God told Jonah to go Nineveh (enemies). Instead of going Jonah ran away in the opposite direction. Jonah was angry with God because he knew that God wanted to have mercy on the people of Nineveh. The book of Jonah is about God's struggle to teach Jonah something that Jonah didn't want to learn. Are you currently running from God like Jonah did? Are you angry with God because he is messing with your life?
