Jonah 1 Batman and Jonah Batman learnt that facing his fears was the first step to overcoming them. God wanted to teach Jonah to face his enemies, not to fight them but to show them mercy and pity, to be a blessing to them. Jonah refused and ran away. God responded by catching Jonah in a storm, waking him from his sleep and making him confess to the sailors that he was on the run.
