| A Quesiton of Love and Justice |

Listen to this message now in Real Audio I feel a sense of injustice at the light sentencing given to criminals, the injustice of third world poverty and the human toll on preventable diseases. It saddens me to see how many families are breaking up in divorce. Where is the justice, where is the love? I know that there are many things I have done to add to the injustice and hurt of this world. So if I ask for justice I have to accept that justice must first visit me. Let me suggest to you that justice and loveare found in the death of Jesus Christ. Instead of judging the world Christ died for it so that I/we might know God's love rather than God's justice. Christ swapped the love of God for the wrath of God so that justice could be done. He took upon himself the penalty of our sin, so that we could receive God's love. So in Christ's death we see both God's love and justice. Trust Christ today and you will receive God's justification (justice without personal penalty) and God's love. |
