 DeLorean Time Machine
Hi to Jessie, Jess, Joshua, Jacob, Royce and Nathalie (Dave fellow leader). If I call anyone ‘J’ I should be right. 1,000 year Pill? One student shared that if he could he would take a pill that would make him live for 1,000 years. It didn't bother him that he would outlive family and friends. Mostly he thought he could play every computer console in 1,000 years. There were concerns about what physical condition you would have for the 1,000 years. For example, would you grow really old and frail or stay in your 20’s?
Know the date of your death? Students got stuck into discussing this question. Some said yes some said no. Some wanted to know how they were going to die so that they could avoid the place or circumstances of their death. For example if you were told you had a month to live, would you go to school? Duuuhh was the response; I didn’t think they would go to school. But maybe they would go to say goodbye. Time machine and the Ice age One student would go back to the ice age. It would be interesting though if there hadn’t been an ice age. Where would you be if God had made the world and it wasn’t billions of years old? We had a laugh about that because you would be in nothingness if that was the case. Changing places One student wanted to become the eldest of her siblings which would mean she would change places with her older sister who has her own place and her own things. Relax its Queensland One student shared that the way he relaxes is by watching TV. I asked what he watched and he said whatever is on. So I suggested he watched things like play school and Thomas the Tank Engine : ) |
