Turkeys, Trifles and the coming of Christ

Winning the lottery would seem like a wonderful thing, all your money problems would disappear. In reality your money problems would only have just begun. People who win millions face terrible hardship, loneliness, divorce, bankruptcy and even death. James is soaked (like a trifle) in the Old Testament and warns us not to envy the rich but to see their spiritual condition, that they are like fattened turkeys just before Thanksgiving day in America.
