Romans 1:1-7 and Romans 16:25-27 Viewing the WorldWe all live in the same world but we don’t view the world in the same way. Paul wrote Romans to express, teach and apply his world view to the Church in Rome. Essentially this letter is the gospel expanded and applied to Christians who lived in Rome. Though we live in the modern world we face the same challenges, where did the world come from, what is wrong with the world, what will or has been done to fix the world, what is my purpose in the world, how do I fulfil my purpose? Exercises1) Describe something of the typical Aussie world view 2) Describe your world view in summary form and give at least two recent examples of how your world view affected your behaviour or decision making. 3) Read Romans 1:1-7 and explain what is really important to Paul. 4) Read Romans 16:25-27 and explain what Paul would like to happen to his readers. 5) Share in what way Jesus Christ has changed your life. 6) Share something that you will do to encourage or help someone this week.
