Why is a good question? Little kids love asking it again and again because they are curious, they want to understand the world they live in. As we grow older we can get so busy that we forget to ask ‘why?’ A life lived fruitfully is a life that understands ‘why?’ To answer the question you need the right way of understanding the world and the right way of interpreting what you see. Exercises

1. Having read the Bible reading share why you think Paul was so gentle in the way he approaches his desire to minister to the Romans

1. Discuss how you understand what Paul means when he talks of ministering the gospel and preaching the gospel.

2. What actual changes do you think Paul is aiming for by preaching and ministering the gospel?

3. Share in what way you have been significantly helped, encouraged or changed through your fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ.

4. What makes you reluctant to ask for prayer, support and help to face your challenges?

5. In what way do you think the gospel could be further established in your life?

6. What kind of people to find it easier to confide and seek support from?

7. In what way will you, this week, be that kind of person for someone in your life?

Prayer: Dear God, Please forgive me for living my own way. Help me both to understand and want to live the gospel by establishing, ministering and partnering in the gospel both in and through my life. Amen
