Luke 7:36-50 and 2 Peter 1-11

Time travel and the gospel

Ever done something really stupid or painful and wished you could go back in time and change what you did? Like the time I made my knee collapse outwards. But we can’t go back and we have to learn to live with the consequences of our actions. However, with the gospel it is possible to change what we have done in the past. Christ life, death and resurrection enables us to be forgiven of all the wrongs we have ever done and to be considered by God to have only done what is right. So that is changing the past which also gives us hope for the future. Past and Future are wonderfully changed by the power of God to Salvation. Both Past and Future converge together to change the present, to change our lives now from bad to good, from frustrating to rewarding, from confusing to making sense. The gospel is powerful in the past, in the present and in the future. the Rev
