Hi![]() Our own stupidity can make us stuck ![]() Sometimes we can feel trapped Eve, Felix, Sam, Anthony, Yun, Saniy Redemption GameSimulating life is a game we like to play. Circumstances sometimes make you stuck. That would be people with pool noodles. When you get tagged you get stuck. Put one hand on your head. However your two friends can form a ring around you and free you. Get tagged again and you need more people to free you. Get tagged 4 times and your dead. There is a lot of running around in the game. Today was great because students were good at working together and freeing each other instead of just trying to keep themselves free. RedeemerThe second time we played I was the redeemer who could set people free so that they started back to zero. Even dead people were raised. I love being able to set people free. How amazing would it have been to have seen Jesus heal the sick, give sight to the blind, the hungry were fed, those who were evil were made good, like tax collectors who were corrupt were changed so that they became generous. Bad Circumstances![]() Sometimes we need to be rescued We can helpOne of the points of this game is to illustrate that it is possible for us to help each other get unstuck. Sometimes we have to learn to see through our friends eyes rather than our own. Sometimes our own feelings don’t work properly. So it is great to have family, friends and our chaplains to help us out. Jesus and the rescueI asked the students what they thought Jesus came to redeem people from and was told that he came to save people from their sin. Sin means to do something bad, something that God doesn’t like. So Jesus came to save us from running away from God. When you read the Gospels in the Bible you find Jesus forgiving really sinful, immoral people. He has dinner with them. He set them free of their guilt and shame, giving them a new life, a fresh start and most importantly a new and renewed relationship with God. Feed Back FormsPlease provide some feedback on the value of the spirituality lesson this year ![]() Sometimes we want to escape
Do we/I need to follow something? Why, Why not?
