There is nothing worse than spending good money on what turns out to be rubbish. However, when we work we want the most money for the least amount of effort.

Our whole society seems full of people trying to get something for nothing or at least for very little. Some people turn to God hoping that He will give them something in return for a little service. Others claim there is no point serving God (Mal 3:14). God wants us to trust and serve Him without tying strings to what we do. So if you serve God to get something then you really aren’t serving God at all. It takes trust to serve God rather than yourself. you think about what you have worked so hard to get, to enjoy, have you got your moneys worth? Have the promises of comfort and happiness been fulfilled? Better to trust in God and put your effort into serving Him. You won’t regret serving God because He always gives more than he receives.
