Genesis 15:1-7 and Romans 4:1-12 God for dinnerIt would be very intimidating having God over for dinner? What would you cook? Would it be nice enough? Should it be vegetarian, Vegan or is God a steak and three vegies kind of deity? What topics of conversation would you bring up, the weather, politics, sport, religion? Abraham had a very personal relationship with God, as did King David. Just like having God over for dinner. None of us is good enough for God but in Christ we have been justified. Prayer: Dear God, forgive me for believing and for trusting in my own ability to save myself. I ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save me as I put my trust in Him. Teach me to believe more in Jesus than I do in myself. Help me to have a personal relationship with you just like Abraham and David.
