Christianity and the State of Origin (Yeah we win!)

Coming from Victoria I consider myself to be impartial in regards to the State of Origin match.

I admit to watching the second half of the game and was troubled when a Qld try was disallowed. After that there were some other biased decisions against Qld and the score was Qld 4 and NSW 14. It would have been easy to give up at this stage. And yet Qld came back and won the game despite feeling ripped off by the umpires. Christians would be excused for feeling intimidated; it seems the whole world is laughing, suppressing and persecuting our faith. Psalm 2 opens our eyes to a wonderful revelation. We are not on the losing team. We are not on the winning team. We are on the team that has already won! The King is on his throne and he will smash his opponents like a good state of origin tackle. Psalm 2 is there to make you live your life boldly for God, unafraid and unashamed. Like a State of Origin player who has broken through the line and is running like mad to make the winning try. Be bold for God.
