Seeing the invisible GodPeople have become genuinely confused about God. I’ve been asked why God doesn’t reveal himself more clearly. Christians whom I counsel struggle to find God within their crises or addiction. God has revealed himself as the invisible God. Is that fair? How are we supposed to know him? To begin with God has been revealing himself right from the beginning. Originally he walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the garden. It was their sin which got them kicked out of God’s presence. But God has not abandoned his children nor this world. ![]() God makes every daisy every time We live in a world of his making and a world which he holds together. Because we take for granted so much of what is in this world and what happens in our lives we have lost sight of God as creator and provider of this world and your life. Learn to see all that you see as being made by God, every good thing being given by God and you will be begin to ‘see’ at least what the invisible God has done and is doing. God has also given us his own revelation in and through the Bible. God inspired all those who wrote it so that it is without error or corruption. In the Bible we can know and learn to relate to the invisible God. He is full of compassion, he is gracious and so all that he does is good and never evil or mean. Jesus Christ is the physical representation of the invisible God. God became flesh so that we can fully relate to Him, he suffered as we do and yet he never failed, he always kept the 10 Commandments perfectly. In and through Christ we can grow in our relationship with God. Psalm 145 is a great help to us in rediscovering the wonder of God’s character and the wonder of all that God does in our world and in our lives. the Rev Sermon: Bless GodBible Reading: Psalm 145Exercises
