Facing your fears

Why are you afraid of people? There are three reasons. First, people can expose and humiliate you. Second, people can reject and despise you. Third, people can attack and hurt you....

Ever discovered that you had put your T shirt on inside out, or that your socks didn't match? Those experiences expose how self conscious you can become, how afraid you are of someone pointing out your embarrassment to other people. We conform so that we blend in, so that we are accepted, so that we are treated nicely. When Jesus Christ came into the world he didn't come to be popular, he came to serve not to be served, He came to suffer not have a good time. It's time to be set free from your fear of people. It's time for all of us to be willing to suffer because we are prepared to tell people about Jesus Christ. Now more than ever there is a great need for people to hear that Jesus Christ has come into the world to heal the broken hearted and to set the captives free. Don't let your fear of people intimidate you to be silent. Now is the time to speak out for Christ; The Rev.
